Newsletter 25th November 2024
From the Principal
It has been a busy few weeks in the lead up to the end of the year. It is great to see we are getting more days with no rain so the field is dry enough for the students to use.
SCHOOL REPORTS AND CLASSES FOR 2025
School reports will be sent home on Friday 13 December. On Friday 20th your child will see their classroom and teacher for 2025. We remind all students that the reports are addressed to you as parents and unless they have your permission, they are not to open them.
Optional Parent Interviews
The reports are sent out early to allow time for any parents to meet with their child’s teacher should you wish to. Please contact your child's teacher directly or through the school office.
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL – Friday 20TH DECEMBER
School closes 1 pm on the last day of school. Please arrange for your child/ren to be collected at this time or alternatively, the After School Programme will be available if you have previously enrolled.
JUMPERS, JACKETS AND HEAT RASH
The children are reminded to put their jackets and jumpers in their bags when they take them off. It is getting much warmer so we are encouraging students on warm days to leave their jumpers etc at home to save them from getting lost or getting heat rash.
Heat rash
Miliaria rubra (A), one type of heat rash, appears as clusters of small, inflamed blister-like bumps that can produce intense itching. Miliaria crystallina (B), another type of heat rash, appears as clear, fluid-filled bumps that don't hurt or itch.
Heat rash usually goes away once the skin cools down. Severe forms of the condition might need treatment from a health care provider.
